Musings, travelling the Wisdom Road

The most helpful thing for me now is a self awareness check in and check out daily.

Even just a few words, thoughts and acknowledgments.

In the morning, It helps me to clarify and identify the direction of the day as I see it unfolding.  It is different from a task list and it speaks to intention more than what is required to fulfil the intention.  As I do this check in in the morning I also ask for inspiration and guidance to attend to all that is on my plate.

The intention of service, where I will be of most good I have found is the most natural place for me to place myself.  For many years I did not include myself in the intention of where I could be of most help in accordance with the divine law.  I now include myself in the prayer to start my day.

Any by the way, for me this is best done before I leave my bed.  No TV, no phone, no email……I start the day with much more peace

A side result, is the day for me begins with a small sense of adventure as I release a bit of the complete ownership or control.

Evenings are more of thanks and review.  Since I also have visions or vivid dreams if there is something in particular that I would appreciate input in, I will sent out this request as I tuck myself in.

Times are difficult in the world around on every front in the moment in time.

We are being challenged to be human beings instead of human doings.

For you that aren’t on the front lines, this may be  time of rest,  or a pause may be a better word—maybe not a peaceful , it can be fraught with worry and concern.  So in this time, we are walking deeper into our selves, seeing what works in our world, what doesn’t or isn’t useful anymore—to really understand what we value rather than what we thought we valued, and to see the world around us.  From our neighbourhoods to our cities to our countries and the planet.

Often it feels like a tennis match on fast forward – those glimpses of love, selfless love all around us , either our own experience of daily life or that of the world we glimpse though the various media available.  Then just as our hearts get that really great warm feeling – bam the dark of the world hits like a ball to the head right to the face.

Keep strong, and wonder.  Wonder why.  Wonder what feeds these things both that we love and enjoy and those that makes us angry, sick and sad.

We cannot change what we do not see.  And seeing is believing as they say.

Be of service, ask for guidance.  You will be inspired to do your best, your place in the world and your desire to help and foster peace will be embraced.   For yourself, those you love, your community and yes for those you would like to lob that ball back at right in the face…”

Great advice. Personal intention and personal reflection are keys to living a life of awareness – and helping us stay in the present moment. Thank you for sharing and I look forward to more of your offerings!
